Yesterday i took part in a 6 hour Endurance race Midland Karting Our Team name given to us by the Marshalls C.P.R Chillee Pepper Racing William Elson @hayden adams @luca williams and myself Qualifying p1 with 47.951 We had to run from the pit lane to the karts which where placed on the track. We got off to a good start and i got away really quickly and pulled and gained a 30 second gap on p2 Driver swap the kart seemed of pace 9 second gap Driver swap we held the gap but the track managed pulled us in as we had a flat tyre this is the reason we were off pace new kart we were now in p2 on lap 94 and were 30 seconds behind we had a lot of work to do we kept our heads down and kept pushing by lap 217 we were back in first place we held p1 till the last lap, 558 lap completed with a 4 lap lead on p2 and Hayden getting the fastest lap of 34.200 This was the longest endurance race I've done to date hoping do do a 24 hour race soon. Yesterday i got the chance to test out my new kart my Tbkart srl senior x30 kart , what amazing day first session i went out on slick tryers and took it steady as the track was wet glad to say i didn't spin, then we put the wet tryers on for the next session so i could really push the kart to its limits.
